This beautiful female Pacific Screech-Owl was found along the coast near Tarcoles, Costa Rica. A male and female, in this spot, came in to us and were very vocal. The habitat of this area was a little more open than some of the places we found other screech owls in Costa Rica so the owls although very close, were not 6 feet away. I don't mean to be too critical, they were still very close.
