It seems unusual to have this Long-eared Owl in such a low elevation (coastal) city park in Southern California. This was a non-typical place for this owl. It didn't seem to mind the many birders that came to see it, other than to occasionally open its eyes to watch the birders back. A very calm Long-eared Owl.
